With all of the exciting projects and programs that your groups are presenting in our State Park system, there is always a need for more monetary contributions. In general, the public will donate if there is a quick and easy way for them to do so and a way for the public to choose where their dollars will be spent. This is the driving force behind the FPOSP Pipe Safe Program.
The “Pipe Safe Program” is just that. These safes can be located in your State Park for your support group. You can place them near a particular project or along a parking area where people can place donations from their car. It is a steel tube that is set in the ground with concrete to secure it. It is approximately 36 inches high when installed. There is a slot in the side to accept money. The top has a padlock lid that opens to a keyed safe-type lid. This is removable to access the donation box.
Your group is responsible for the painting, installation, maintenance and collection of the donations. Your group is also responsible for the signage on the pipe safe as well. All groups must have their park manager’s signature on the order form, allowing the number of safes to be placed in your specific park.
Costs: New FPOSP members will receive their first safe at no cost with payment of the initial dues. Current members additional safes will be at a cost of $15.00 per safe. Non-members cost for each safe is $100.00 with packaging and delivery the full responsibility of the purchaser.
To order, print out the FPOSP Pipe Safe Order Form at the beginning of this document, complete and send with a check to the address noted on the bottom of the form. Delivery/pickup arrangements will be discussed after payment is received.
